King William is also the location of the only two Native American Tribal Reservations in the Commonwealth of Virginia (Mattaponi and Pamunkey). | ||||

| King William County includes 286 square miles of flat to gently rolling terrain in Virginias Coastal Plain region. The Mattaponi River on the northeast and the Pamunkey River on the southwest provide drainage. The two rivers merge to form the York River at West Point, at the southernmost tip of the county. | ||||
