KING WILLIAM HIGH SCHOOL

Tyler Pinder

A colleague stated about Ms. Pinder, "She stays calm, cool, and collected no matter the situation."

This year our, "Be That One" initiative is focusing on "UNITED." Ms. Pinder has demonstrated this day in and day out. She is a true professional! In addition to her teaching duties, she is the athletic trainer for KWHS. This year the athletic trainer role has increased exponentially with the safety protocols that have been in place for athletics all year. She has risen to the task each season and continues to go above and beyond to support our athletes and coaches. Addiontially we have had several emergencies during athletic contests, and in each situation, Ms. Pinder took control calmly and confidently. This was appreciated and recognized by parents, staff, coaches, and students. Ms. Pinder is essential for our athletic program, and we are proud to recognize her as the May Employee of the Month for KWHS.

Ms. Pinder has expanded her Sports Medicine program to include opportunities for students to gain real-world experience by working athletic games at KWHS. The Sports Medicine program continues to grow, and with hands-on learning, students have enjoyed learning all aspects of Sports Medicine. There is no doubt that due to Ms. Pinder, we will have future athletic trainers come out of our Sports Medicine program! GO CAVS!
