KWCPS is proud to announce that Mrs. Staci Longest, the division's Director of Budget and Finance, was recently awarded the 2024 "Emerging Leaders Scholarship" from the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO), the nation's premier professional association for school business leaders. Mrs. Longest was one of twenty recipients to be recognized nationwide. ASBO
promotes the highest standards of school business management, professional growth, and the effective use of educational resources, and its members
are the finance decision makers in school systems around the world who manage budgeting, purchasing, facility operations and maintenance, human resources, technology, transportation, food service, healthcare, and many other areas that affect the delivery of educational services.
